Undoubtedly the most colorfully costumed people in the Americas are the Highland Maya of Guatemala. While traditional native dress has disappeared in many parts of the world, Guatemala remains a place where a high percentage of the indigenous people still proudly wear their traditional dress called traje. Moreover, in Guatemala, Maya traje is village-specific or language-group related.

This traje is the typical attire of all the males who reside in isolated village of Todos Santosa municipality in the Guatemalan department of Huehuetenango. This town is one of few places in Guatemala where indigenous men and women still wear their traditional clothing.

This traje is totally hand-made from local weavers, made only by organic materials which are locally naturally dyed. All ours materials are extremely comfortable and soft. Perfect for every kind of sensitive skin.
