Handmade in Guatemala with 100% Rio Blanco cotton, this cushion cover is perfect to dress up your sofa or bed. It features intricate and colorful traditional Mayan designs as well as an invisible zipper closure. The ornamentation represents a religious cup and church bells, surrounded by the Quetzal bird, the national symbol of Guatemala and the region of Quetzaltenango. This decorative throw pillow is hand-woven in the traditional art of backstrap loom weaving by indigenous women of the Quetzaltenango region in the Guatemalan highlands.
This cushion takes 10 to 15 days to make.
