Did you know that the Mayans crafted a unique shade of blue using local natural pigments? You can admire it in some of these precious bags!
Our weavers carry on the ancient Mayan color-making tradition and create the dazzling Mayan blue using the leaves of the anil.
This color is an important piece of their cultural heritage: it is a symbol of vigor and energy, mirroring the heart of flames.
