Diamond Natural Dye Scarf Indigo
This naturally-dyed, lightweight, handwoven scarf is the perfect accessory to transition from spring to summer to fall. Handmade in Guatemala of a lightweight 100% cotton, it can either be worn as a spring or summer scarf. This scarf has been made by women within the San Juan de la Laguna community.
The diamonds can represent the Guatemala History and reminds the people that it was a wealthy country before the arrival of the Spaniards since they took many precious stones such as diamonds, gold, silver and bronze among others, but at the same time it reminds that Guatemala continues to have many other riches as it's people and it's nature.
Handwoven in the traditional art of backstrap loom-weaving, this took 20 hours to make.
