Eco-friendly Handbag - Mayan Blue Ixkot
Here in TRAMA storytelling is an ancestral art.
By intertwining their dazzling Mayan heritage with their personal stories of resilience, our weavers can indeed create intricate narratives that will warmly embrace you in polychrome and refined designs.
These precious and comfy handbags combine the ancient power of Ixkot, the two-headed eagle, with the deep blue waters of Guatemala, gifted by the rain deity Chaac.
The heads of Ixkot allow it to contemplate time, looking at both the past and the future, while the unique Mayan blue symbolises the spiritual connection with the gods and their secret realms.
Our weavers' unique textures will pass on their identity as individuals and as a community sharing an inestimable cultural heritage.
Deep bonds with people and nature are the core of TRAMA and we want to celebrate the strength and courage of our cooperative and all our supporting communities with these new creations.
May Ixkot inspire you to dive into our Mayan weavers' past and to be part of their future!
