Embroidered Blouse - Strawberry Ehecatl

$58.00

By combining their knowledge of ancient Mayan weaving techniques with the use of state-of-the-art embroidery machines, our craftswomen are able to experiment with new designs.
These special machines allow them to create neater and more intricate patterns, adding an extra touch of refined cheerfulness to their handwoven blouses!

These crafts are made even more special thanks to their floral patterns, which symbolise the ever-existing bond between all living beings and spirits.
It is Ehecatl, the powerful god of the wind, who spreads the intense fragrances of orchids, lilies and roses to bring together the souls scattered throughout the human and spirit worlds:
airstreams carry promises of eternal love...

Do you know the story of Xóchitl and Huitzilin?

They became legends for the strength of their love, immortalised by special flowers:

When her lover fell in battle, Xóchitl asked the Aztec god of the sun, Tonatiuh, to be turned into the golden cempasúchil...
Thanks to Ehecatl's winds, her intense aroma could reach the soul of Huitzilin, who decided to transform into the iridescent hummingbird to visit his beloved every day.

If you have liked this story, check out these precious crafts: they will tell you more about the precious cempasuchiles!
