Naturally Dyed Pantalón Típico - Indigo Blue
Are you the type of comfy-stylish person who would always wear sweatsuit trousers, no matter what?
Well, even if you are not, you will soon be.
Our skilled weavers' pantalones (aka "trousers") are so soft and delicate that they will feel like wearing a second skin. Being also made with 100% organic cotton, this skin will be as breathable as yours (do not really know if this metaphor's working, but still...), thus providing you with just the right thing to enjoy the chilly warm springtime and the burning hot days of summer at the fullest.
But these peculiar gems have more tricks up their sleeve!
Their intense shade of blue comes from the natural dyes that our craftswomen manufacture using the local indigo plant. Each thread of cotton is immersed in the velvety, vibrant, deep pond of our indigo dyes to then compose bright and vivid patterns that embody the majestic beauty of Guatemalan nature.
This is the ancient Mayan color making technique and it is quite a magical piece of our weavers' inestimable cultural heritage.
Try our pantalones out: it will be love at first wear!
