Quiché Eagle Handbag Blue
The Quiché handbag will become your new go to bag for a night out or to run errands! The intricate embroidery will add an eclectic touch to your everyday look. The ornamentation represent the Maya ixhot, or double-headed eagle. Some interpret one face to represent good and the other evil, while others use the symbol as an expression of balance with one head facing the past and the other the future.
Each handbag is designed and handwoven by our cooperative of Mayan women weavers in the Guatemalan Highlands. Traditionally made, each bag conveys culture and quality.
