Marina Sánchez, a talented publicist from Barcelona, joined us at Trama Textiles with a heart full of curiosity and a passion for social causes. Known for her free-spirited and sweet nature, Marina quickly adapted to our team, bringing fresh ideas for our publicity efforts. She has always had a special place for children and the power of creative projects for good, and this was reflected in her contributions to our cause. Though initially unsure about her skills in weaving, Marina's determination led her to complete her first piece—a moment of great happiness and personal achievement.
Despite facing health challenges, including tendinitis that slowed her down during her volunteering period, Marina remained dedicated and focused, finding ways to contribute in other ways. Her work with us focused on spreading the word about Trama Textiles and promoting our mission through effective marketing strategies. Through her, we were able to reach a wider audience, shedding light on the important work of empowering indigenous women. During her time with us, Marina formed deep connections with the other volunteers and the community, learning from our skilled weavers, Oralia and Amparo, and sharing moments of personal growth with them.
