Rooftop yoga class in Xela Quetzaltenango

Classes are Temporarily Paused

Due to the rainy season and changing afternoon weather conditions, our Yoga for a Cause classes are taking a temporary pause. Since the classes take place in an open rooftop space, we want to make sure we can offer a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone.

We’ll also be using this time to reorganize the program and prepare for what comes next.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us, shared this space, and supported Almaya Fund through each class.

This is just a little pause — we hope to be back soon!

Stay tuned for new dates and updates.

Whether you are visiting Quetzaltenango, living in Xela, or simply looking for a peaceful activity, Trama Textile invites you to join a moment of well-being while supporting children’s education in Guatemala.

Tuesday  and Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, join Jaqui Hale for a yoga class on the rooftop of Kasa Kiwi in Zona 1.

Jaqui Hale completed her yoga teacher training in Boston in 2025 at Soma Yoga Studio and is currently completing a prenatal teacher training with Ma Yoga Online. She teaches a Hatha-style flow focused on turning inward, reconnecting with your intuition, and finding a gentle balance between strength & softness.

Her classes are open to all levels, and can be taught in both English and Spanish. Jaqui’s goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can move at their own pace. She hopes that each student leaves the class feeling more grounded, connected to their breath, and able to observe their thoughts with greater awareness.

All proceeds of the class are donated to Almaya Fund, Trama Textile’s social program, which supports children from rural communities in Guatemala by helping improve their access to education.

The funds raised help provide essential resources such as school supplies, uniforms, and transportation.
