Ixkot Shoulder bag
This beautiful Ixkot Shoulder Bag, features a central hand-embroidered Ixkot design, depicting the two-headed eagle, which serves as a symbol of luck across many communities throughout Guatemala.
This distinctive design was created in Quiché, the home of Guatemala's K'iche' population. K'iche' translates to “many trees,” and serves as a reflection of the region's forest-covered land.
This bag was handwoven and hand-embroidered by the women in our collective using the handpicking method on our traditional backstrap looms.
Material: 100% cotton; polyester lining.
