Quetzal Cushion Cover
This beautiful cushion cover is an exemplary combination of traditional Maya symbols and Catholic representations. Within the hand embroidery of the backstrap loom weaving, our artisans include abstract symbols of the church, its bells, and a goblet. Interrupting their continous repetition is the Guatemalan Quetzal, the national bird and important symbol of Indigenous Guatemala.
