This time of year always comes with a lot of reflection, chapters closing and other doors opening for new opportunities and change. The same is true here at Trama, as we are heading into 2024 with a brand new member to the team - our Project Coordinator, Thomas.
We thought it would be a great idea to dedicate a part of this week’s newsletter to getting to know Thomas a bit better.
What motivated you to join Trama Textile?
I just moved to Xela with my baby daughter and I wanted to work for a Guatemalan led organization while finding my role here in the city.
What are you most looking forward to in your work with Trama?
Learning more about Textiles, I dont have a weaving background. I do look forward to bringing more organization to Trama and hopefully aid in their mission..
And finally, have you picked up anything from the shop or are there any pieces you have been eyeing?
It has been only a week and my daughter has already gone home with two stuffed animals!!
